It’s a Nightmare
Former Tenant
Pros:
2 blocks from the train. Bars and restaurants nearby.
Cons:
Horrible owners and management. Always under construction that’s done poorly. Disgusting garbage and laundry. Loud parties all the time. Huge heat bills because heating is not adequate and each unit pays for its own hot water being heated. So so cold in the winter. Roof access was taken away despite that being part of the selling point. Bedbugs.
Advice to owner:
Do things well and don’t cut corners. Your managers are liars and abusive towards tenants that complain.

Dave Denis is a rich, greedy, gaslighting prick
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors are all long standing loft law tenants and very nice people.
Cons:
The managment and owner will gaslight you if somethibg is broken or not working. They will condescendingly explain to you how to do something as simplistic as lock a door or mop a floor. Things won’t get fixed. they’ll let themselves into your apartment without consent to take photos.

Affordable with sunshine, but bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units themselves are gorgeous and priced fairly. Long time tenants have a renters association which is very helpful. It’s a chance to live in an amazing neighborhood.
Cons:
Management gave tenants extremely short notice (less than two months) that mandatory construction would be taking place in our units and we would need to leave our apartment for a one month period.

What a Mess
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great community and neighbors, apartments are large
Cons:
Terrible roach problems, the worst managed construction ever, nonstop problems with power, security, stolen packages. Poorly done renovations.
Advice to owner:
Stop trying to save a buck with terrible construction companies. Renovate the apartments properly!
