Pretty but not functional

Pros:
The apartments are pretty
Cons:
Management is non-responsive. Repairs aren't made quickly or even updates given even in emergency situations. Most tenants are partiers who don't respect common areas, non-smoking rules, or noise levels.
Advice to owner:
Communicate with your tenants

It's fine as an entry level apartment

Pros:
Apartments are pretty sound proof, bathrooms are renovated, and neighbors are friendly. Close to buses. Building owners and management changed mid lease, so cleanliness, garbage management improved but not sure how much as we only overlapped with new management for a couple of months.
Cons:
Neighborhood can be loud, we had a mice infestation (entering through closets), far from subway.

Filthy hallways, loud neighbors, trash outside is never kept up

Decent but Poor Management

Location, Roof, Working Heat
Cons:
Mice. Consistent garbage citations. Rats outside in trash and on sidewalk. Heat entirely too hot, burn your hands while washing. Management takes weeks to respond. Cannot get in touch with property manager. Cabinets breaking. Floors in poor shape. Poor lighting. Unclean property.

Care about your tenants more
