typical alphabet city
Former Tenant
Pros:
super was great, allowed us to keep bikes on the lower level below the main entrance. high ceilings
Cons:
very small rooms, expensive
Advice to owner:
the gate at the front is a bit hostile

Big spaces, loud noises, rude management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are big! The hot water is never ending! Lighting was great. The guys who clean the building and do repairs are very nice!
Cons:
Loud loud loud corner. Everyday, all day.
Packages get stolen. There are cameras but the super does not help you to review them/told me I have to buy cords and a screen to do so. Wouldn’t really repair things all the way would have to come back and do things again. Management is so rude. Yelled at me multiple times on the phone. Offer zero help during covid financially, they are strictly there to make money. They’re just shady.
Advice to owner:
Be kind to your tenants. Implement a better security system.

Lived here for many years!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The management are very nice and reasonable.

The laundry right across the street is perfect and the owners there are so sweet.
Cons:
Not the building itself, but the street noise is absolutely insane. Constant music playing at all hours from people on the street.

The building has an ongoing minor problem with cockroaches and mice.

The area feels very unsafe and crime ridden.

Great building- winter pipe Banging
Former Tenant
Pros:
-nice apartment
- exposed brick
- convenient location
- newly built gate
Cons:
-100 year old building
- pipes bang and make noise during fall/winter months - impossible to sleep
- for lower floored units, Avenue C is very loud
-scaffolding across the street has a lot of homeless
Advice to owner:
Offer rent reduction during COVID.
