Okay building- unresponsive management and old unit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Absolutely great location, very helpful super. Common areas of the building (stairs and hallways) always clean and well lit, didn't personally experience any serious pest problems
Cons:
Management company is always hard to hunt down and very unhelpful. Old units that need updating for the price, but that's what you get in a lot of the east village. Mold issues. Paper thin walls between units, I could hear everything happening in the neighboring apartment.

Not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location in Alphabet City
Cons:
Management is really bad and the building as a whole is unkept. The super is pretty terrible too. mice and roaches are unfortunately part of the deal.
Advice to owner:
Pest control is a must.
