Fine and Affordable for its Neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked how quiet Stanton St is. The building mangers are incredibly responsive and resolve issues very quickly. The unit was clean and freshly painted when we arrived. We had very few issues with our experience overall.
Cons:
Some bedrooms are very small with little natural little and no living room which is pretty typical NYC, but there are better options in the same price range around the neighborhood. Old building with old LOUD pipes. It was hard to sleep when the radiators turned on the first few nights. The oven just did not work very well and the units are tinyyyyy.
Advice to owner:
Lower the price!

Not the Best, Not on the Street
Former Tenant
Pros:
Maintenance people are very fast to fix a problem day-of or next day. They are very nice too. The location of this building, although loud when the bars and restaurants are active, is great for close access to Soho/EV/LES, Whole Foods, and the subway. Most units have dated appliances and the shared kitchen space is small with the large counters/cabinets they added.
Cons:
Property owners treat tenants like they’re a nuisance. There were some winters when the heat wouldn’t work for days and they were slow to prioritize it. They were/are not collaborative with tenants that have faced financial troubles due to the pandemic.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants with respect and you won’t have a building mostly unoccupied like what happened during the pandemic.
