Nice Apartment Terrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The rooms are nice and large. And the kitchen is nice. The location is also very good
Cons:
I knew that something was wrong when the managment thought I was moving in the NEXT month. They were able to get me the keys but it was a terrible hassle. The floor was covered in paint chips and I found cockroaches. The bathroom was also gross. You sent someone to "clean" it but they just went over the floor with a broom and barely did anything. There was also a hole in my bathroom ceiling which literally leaked sewer water. And it took you 6 MONTHS to fix it. I also remember the heater my living room and you all never fixed it. Luckily it only happened once. In general the managment takes 3+ hours to get here once I call. You guys also don't have an email or a mailing address so communication is very difficult. And I can only call you on the weekdays. You also raised the rent on me by a whooping 1,500 dollars!
Advice to owner:
I get it the managment company is owned by a slumlord. https://therealdeal.com/2011/05/03/bahram-hakakian-slumlord-sells-distressed-portfolio-to-queens-owner-for-22-miilion/ and you are going to nickel and dime all the tenants. But at least have some empathy for the tenants. We are humans too.
