Students Living here
Former Tenant
Pros:
As a student this place was good. I would say small for a family but great for roomates.
Cons:
There were some things that needed to be fixed (holes in window mouldings, slanted floors, just typical landlord special type things.)

great place to live in the east village
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nice super. Great location and price. No pests! Love my apartment—have lived here 3 years.
Cons:
Older walk up building with very steep/precarious stairs. Heat isn’t super reliable in beginning of winter. Thin walls (as is typical).

Building is fine, landlords not great, neighbors awful
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice building, tenants are respectful and clean. Super is very responsive when needed.
Cons:
The apartments next door are all NYU kids and awful brats. They throw outdoor ragers (literally, they are super apartments with a huge backyard, at least 100 people deep) all months of the year. And the Nord Anglican school on 2nd has adult intramural sports all year, and you can hear the games very very loudly until 11pm every night. Tzm is shady - a tub in the unit above me leaked and they told me to file a claim with my insurance and weren’t helpful. They are very very delayed in re to being my security deposit, and the check they did send me is fake.
Advice to owner:
You must legally return a security deposit within 14 days. This is very unacceptable

Good apartment but small
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked that the apartment was centrally located to a lot of great bars and restaurants
Cons:
I didnt like that the stairs were so steep so it was pretty hard to climb them, the 2 bedrooms were pretty small in terms of living area and there wasnt really much sunlight

Well-Maintained Pre-War Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Despite the age and wear of the building, this apartment is secure, well maintained and comfortable. The owners are responsive, reachable, reasonable and employ superintendents with the same values. On the few occasions that we’ve requested maintenance, like an old medicine cabinet or toilet seat that is coming lose, we come home to find brand new replacements right away. This management is the perfect combination of attentive and no-fuss. Lease renewals and rent increases were minimal and fair.
Cons:
A few incidences of package theft that were addressed with emails to tenants, and installation of virtual doorman system. It’s a steep walk up but a worthy trade off for an otherwise comfortable residence.
Advice to owner:
Online rent payment/tenant message board would be nice but otherwise thank you for being such great landlords.
