Really poor communication from management, we lost hot water 7-8 times over the course of the lease and it took a while to fix it each time

New grad building w/ decent quality apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Almost all new college grads live in this building. The apartments are newly renovated so fairly nice. Granite countertops, wood floor
Cons:
Management is extremely unresponsive to anything besides simple maintenance requests. My packages get stolen all the time and when I asked for the security camera footage to give to the police management said they couldn’t find it.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your residents! Get a full time property manager that we can email with our problems and work with. Make it less easy for the package thief’s to get in

Generally okay with some issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location within east village
Cons:
Have had issues with heat and hot water (primarily hot water) a few times. Rooms are extremely small. Kitchen so small it is barely usable. Neighbors often leave trash in hallways.

Overpriced for lack of communication

We constantly had issues with water and heat turning off, and there was nobody to contact to talk about any issues.
Advice to owner:
Open up some sort of direct communication.

Stolen Packages, Poor utilities
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pretty set up. Nice to have dish washer and washer and dryer within the unit.
Cons:
Had multiple hundreds of dollars worth of packages stolen. Poor management. Hot water comes and goes often, WiFi can get spotty.
Advice to owner:
Implement cameras or a better package delivery system and figure out what’s going on with the heat.
