Overpriced! Poorly architected terrible use of a already small space.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and quieter street because it’s right beside the police department.
Cons:
Way overpriced. The 331 e 5th units are very small and the layout is narrow making it difficult to furnish. There is legit no counter space, poorly architected design. No storage space at all. One very small closet. They built in walls to make a one bedroom but it just takes away space from the already small unit. The units are not well heated. The natural light is non existent. The landlord refuses to allow online payments. The courtyard is not well maintained (pics are misleading).
I have friends who signed places on 4th 6th and 10th between 1st and 2nd Ave that have DOUBLE the space, elevator, dishwasher, real a/c, a lot of natural light, trash shoot, big closets and furnished rooftop for 2700$ (same price as 331 e 5th)!
Advice to owner:
Should really consider getting online pay, it makes things more convenient for your tenants.
