Clean but first floor inside trash had mice
Former Tenant
Pros:
Ability to buzz the door remotely
Cons:
Trash management attracted mice and radiators very hot in winter.

You'll be sacrificing to live in the West Village
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building has one of the best locations in all of Manhattan. You're surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and shops and have access to the 1 train and PATH just a couple blocks away. Apart from loud upstairs neighbors (which exist everywhere), the building is extremely quiet.
Cons:
It's impossible to get in contact with the super during emergencies. You have to go through the app where they will respond hours or days later. If you call the number in the app, it goes to a call center. I have had several cockroaches in my apartment and there are mice in the hallway by the trash. Sadly, the neighborhood crime is starting to pick up as well. Lastly, the heat is centrally managed and is so high that I have found myself running my AC 24/7. Opening the windows doesn't help as they face inside the building.
