If you want a lack of privacy this is your spot
Former Tenant
Pros:
Tall Ceilings, Lots of windows, two fireplaces.
Cons:
Lack of privacy, walls are paper thin. Neighbors can hear your conversations word for word. The landlord shows up to collect rent every month but doesn't do any upkeep on the property. There's tons of spiders, centipedes, and many other bugs, but the landlord thinks it's the tenants issue to take care of. Not to mention the upkeep of the front area, cigarette butts all over. To get access to your fuse box you would have to go all the way down into the business, and into the basement. (Which they don't give you access to unless you're the business owner downstairs, so you have to call the landlord or business to get to your breaker.) The wiring is easily over 50yrs old, and the building is from 1882. It's falling apart. More times than not, have the brick pillar columns ontop fallen onto the roof damaging the 3rd floor tenants ceiling. The water pressure is sometimes non-existent because the salon gets priority. The laundry that's on site is exclusive only to the business even though it was included on their posting on Zillow.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your property if you want it. If you don't, sell it. Seriously.
