Classic Murray hill apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments are big and nicely renovated. Good amenities (for a mandatory fee)
Cons:
Elevators are always out of order and there are not enough to support the amount of people living here, especially considering everyone flexes their apts. there is constantly construction that makes it disruptive to work from home, and reduces access to the roof.

Good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
super quick responses to maintenance requests, great amenities, friendly doormen, love the guys in the package room. never had any sort of pest or bug issue
Cons:
there's always an elevator that is broken. during busy times (weekday around 6pm) there is often an extremely long line to get to the elevator. other than that everything is great

Great first apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Easy - dealing with management, commuting, apartment upkeep, communication if something was broken, etc. amenities also amazing.
Cons:
Slow elevator, laundry was a frustrating process with some machines not functioning
Advice to owner:
Be more willing to decrease rent month to month depending on elevator functionality

Beware of bugs and mice
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice amenities, not as noisy from outside as you would think with its location, good space
Cons:
so many issues with water bugs, cockroaches and mice. the building only has an exterminator come on mondays so if you have an issue you wont be seen till then which is unsettling. neighbors can be nosy

The worst building in Manhattan
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment itself is fine.
Cons:
Basically everything else. The management company is terrible, unresponsive and unhelpful and manages *nothing*. They’ve been repairing elevators on the north tower for nearly 2 years leaving 35 floors with only two barely functioning elevators. Even now that it’s “done” they still constantly break down. Most of the people who live here are young and party constantly. There’s been vomit on one of the elevator doors for months and on my hallway wall for over a year. While maintenance comes fast, unless it’s an easy fix they’ll jerk you around. It took months to get our AC fixed and they replaced it 3 times with other non functioning units before we got one that worked. The rent is insane for how crap the amenities are. Also the management office workers park their cars on the sidewalk behind the building and expect security to watch it for them.
Advice to owner:
New management.

Awful Mgmt, Elevators Broken, Overpriced
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice views. Generally updated interior
Cons:
Elevators never work and there are 350 units on each side of the building. Mgmt is extremely rude and unresponsive. Package room loses items all the time and is also rude. Gym is closed half the time, roof is also never open…but they charge for all of this
Advice to owner:
Fire your staff. It’s unacceptable.

nice place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
-there is always someone at security or at the front desk to help you out -well maintained
Cons:
-the apartment is small itself -the elevators in this building are sooo slow and there always seems to be one in maintenance which adds to the congestion (basically add 5 mins to your commute because of the elevator)
Advice to owner:
invest in elevators

Good if you’re young and easy going
Former Tenant
Pros:
Updated apartments, maintenance team is responsive
Cons:
Elevators are horrible - the lines get way too long during rush times can take 10+ mins to even get on one, management isn’t always the best to deal with around leases

Average building and ownership, but great views, amenities, apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
If you have no issues with your appliances, no maintenance needed, etc. then it's great.
Cons:
Slow for maintenance, elevators would be broken 1-2 a month. Leasing office staff aren't nice
