Beautiful studio apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super and handyman are very responsive and kind men. I had no interactions with the landlord (BLDG Management) though I did successfully receive my security deposit back, paid in full, without any problems.
Cons:
My next door neighbor sadly passed away while I was living there
Advice to owner:
Pay your super and handyman well! They do all the work.

BLDG management worst in class
Former Tenant
Pros:
Relatively quiet and reasonably clean
Cons:
Absolutely awful management, not willing to take any responsibility for issues, no sense of urgency
Advice to owner:
Own your mistakes. Take responsibility.

great location, absent management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is amazing. So close to Central Park, restaurants and the subways. If you have small kids, the zoned elementary school is great.
Cons:
The management company was always difficult to get a hold of. We had 3 different super. One was great, the others made sure you knew they were displeased to have to fix anything.

Great location and clean
Former Tenant
Pros:
Always spotless- building was cleaned often and never had any bugs. Whenever I had an issue (shower clogged once) it was immediately addressed. Super lives close by and all the guys who work in the building are lovely.
Cons:
Building management takes days, even weeks to respond. Never got back to me about rent negotiations. I severely overpaid for my studio.
Advice to owner:
Please respond to tenants more promptly.

Great location, worst management ever
Former Tenant
Pros:
Don’t bother renting here. Management is so bad that it’s hard to imagine. They absolutely do not care about you. The super is very hard to get a hold off. We’ve lost 5 packages in the last month, and even though there is a security camera, management won’t do anything to help you figure out where your packages are going. If you need something from them, you may as well write it on a piece of paper, put it in a bottle and throw it in the Hudson because that’s going to have no less impact than actually trying to call them
Cons:
- terrible management - no responsiveness - super is a good guy but stretched super thin across too many buildings
Advice to owner:
Get your act together. Stop fleecing tenants and invest in some staff and set a culture of service
