Loved the apartment… not the super.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet stairs/halls, well maintained entrance. Loved the original wood floors in my apartment, lots of light. Good street with some activity but pretty quiet. Amazing location to trader joes, subways, parks!
Cons:
Super was hard to get hold of and always seemed irritated to be contacted. Ignored a leak and requests for service until my bathroom ceiling collapsed one morning leaving a 6ft hole into the apartment above. ALSO ASK ABOUT RENT STABILIZED! Found out from a neighbor while we were moving out that many units were stabilized and we were never told despite asking. Rent was over market value and owner tried to increase monthly a lot hence we finally moved out.
Advice to owner:
Clear up exact preferred method of communication with super - super had numerous numbers and always seemed irritated in the few times I ever reached out for assistance.
