Nice for my first NYC apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
I had a very good experience here, especially when requesting maintenance from the building’s super, who was always kind and responsive. The building’s location is super within a few minute walk to the 72 express train, Trader Joe’s and other grocery stores, a gym, Central Park, Riverside, and really close to generally anything on the UWS
Cons:
A/C and heating is difficult to handle - it’s all electric with one bedroom and one living room unit. I recommend using window insulation to keep outside air out

New building, rough around the edges
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great appliances, location, in-unit laundry, microwaves, dishwasher, shower, bathroom, paint, and floor.
Cons:
Building has had leaking pipes and leak problems. Water has dripped through ceilings, destroying paint and materials. Building super is not helpful and has a bad attitude, and avoids addressing problems. Management is responsive, but allows problems to go unaddressed for long periods of time . They do eventually resolve them. Their contractors do not show for jobs, and end up not fixing problems.
