Not worth dealing with Omar, the worst property manager in the world
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is quiet on the southside, large windows with lots of natural light, roof deck, fairly quiet building.
Cons:
Above a crunch gym so you’ll usually hear people on the weights. However, the worst part about this building is the property manager, Omar Padial. He has literally made living here extremely uncomfortable and and I don’t feel like I can enjoy my home here because Omar is so crazy and with threaten to nonrenewal my lease for absolutely no reason he’s just cranky and likes to take it out on tenants in the building because it gives him a power trip.
Advice to owner:
This is advice for the property owner not the property management company Jordan Cooper… Either get rid of Omar or get rid of Jordan Cooper altogether and find a new property manager that actually works with the tenants and makes them feel comfortable in their own homes. I’d hate for anyone else to have to go through what I had to this past year dealing with Omar.

New building run by aspiring slumlords.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and neighbors are really great, the building looks nice, it is modern, and Crunch is literally next door.
Cons:
The broker (Michael Gavin) isn’t honest, and the building management could not possibly care less about making repairs or helping their tenants, even when it’s in their own interest! Property manager Omar is one of the biggest assholes I’ve ever met, and I’ve met quite a few. He’s rude, defiant, indignant and just a dick, purely for sport. He’s subject to emotional outbursts for reasons even he can’t explain, and is completely unprofessional on a routine basis. The super also doesn’t really care about making repairs, and some repairs he’ll simply refuse to make if he doesn’t think it’s worth it, completely ignoring the fact that he’s not the one paying Manhattan prices in a new building (built in 2015; date listed here is inaccurate) where it’s reasonable to expect everything would work. If there are issues with the washing machines, management will tell you to call Hurcules (washing machine vendor). If there’s a problem with the intercom, management will tell you to contact the manufacturer. It should also be noted here that one of the pictures associated with this building in the OpenIgloo app of a very nice gym is not for this building. That’s the Crunch next door. They are unaffiliated with the building, other than proximity. No discounts or anything for living there, so that picture might as well be of a posh lobby in some other building. It should also be noted that the building doesn’t pay for any utilities other than water and trash. Every unit has its own electric heater and electric water heater. The tenant pays to heat both, even when the temperature outside drops below what NYC says is the minimum where the landlord must then supply heat.
Advice to owner:
Fire Jordan Cooper, LLC. Where did you find these guys? Are they paying you to manage this building??
