pretty good
Former Tenant
Pros:
big windows, fairly clean inside apartment, decent bathroom, quiet street, management company and maintenance are easy to reach.
Cons:
there seems to be quite a few roaches in the laundry room, and i’ve had a chunk of the wall fall into my laundry.
Advice to owner:
Maybe a renegotiation of rent price during a global pandemic, if anything.

Gem Apartment on the UWS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Incredible super, flexible landlord, nice neighbors, decent closet, great proximity to Central Park, Whole Foods, Key Foods, good restaurants, and most importantly of all, Kevin McCallister’s uncle’s brownstone.
Cons:
Wish the smoke detectors didn’t go off every time you tried to cook, but doesn’t that go for all NYC apartments.
Advice to owner:
I had a great experience there. No real advice to offer.
