Pros:
Great location in Manhattan, close to many grocery stores and parks.
Cons:
The management of this building is the worst I’ve ever seen. They don’t give you any information about themselves except for one phone number to contact— and you’re lucky if they pick up. The apartment building is infested with cockroaches because the trash room is on the third floor and bags pile up in there on the floor all week. If you ask management to arrange for an exterminator, it is next to impossible. I called the exterminator myself and they sprayed my suite, but the cockroaches were back a few weeks later. Management is unresponsive and simply do not care- they just want your $. There is no superintendent to contact either— they have a number of someone that doesn’t work at the building anymore. Management will go back on their word and are extremely sketchy/difficult to deal with. Avoid at all costs!
Advice to owner:
Please fumigate the building! The trash room is a breeding ground for cockroaches and the door to the room is oftentimes left wide open. It is not right for tenants to have cockroaches come crawling into their kitchens when cooking!
