The building is old and it shows but the management is great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fair rent, washer, and dryer in the building, building manager and super are very nice and quick to help with every need, fixed fair price for electricity
Cons:
the building is super old and it shows the stairs are crooked, and the floor is crooked too. cockroaches are a thing, shower drain is not the best. not allowed on the roof.
Advice to owner:
more pest repellant, and change carpet on stairs. Other than that all the other problems can be realistically solved.

It is OK
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s above a deli. Tough to find space in Manhattan, this is a space. No one really bothers us
Cons:
Washer and dryer not included - it’s been broken for years and landlord has not fixed. Many cracks in the walls where the bugs crawl into once we turn the lights on. Windows are broken so I just stuff blankets to cover up the spaces during the winter. I’d recommend a personal heater. Strong fishy smell from the restaurant below sticks around during the summer, you get used to it.
