Pros:
Renovations and new countertops marble bathroom
Cons:
Sketch. Such a bad neighborhood and horrible building. We had so many roaches and those long legged creepy crawlers. When I moved in there was a large crack in the wall in my bedroom. We were told that this was due to construction outside of the building but would be sealed before we moved in. When I moved in their way of “sealing” it was to put a piece of plywood overtop of it and painting it white. That’s how the bugs came in. And they came in by the many. I could barely sleep for fear of bugs crawling on me in my own bed. The radiators were insanely loud and one time spit hot water on my leg that I still have a permanent scar from, every single package I ordered got stolen. Every single one. I had to have them delivered to my work because that’s the only way I could get them. Hallways are scary and dark and never ever cleaned. There were spills and stains on the floors when I moved in that were there when I moved out. Cracks started appearing over time in most of the walls and the nice marble bathroom started cracking apart. The water was always cold. The heat hardly worked and was so cold. Utilities were expensive there because the building is old. So heat is expensive but it’s still cold all winter, I would wake up with a cold nose to the touch. In summer to cool down the place costs you $$$. Not to mention people getting shot on our block all the time. Super sketch and super not worth saving a few hundred dollars. Live somewhere else anywhere else!
