Great tenets horrible landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
I trust my neighbors and there is a general sense of community.
Cons:
Currently without heat or hot water. No information as to why.
Last winter, there was a radiator leak and my ceiling started to collapse. There was black mold underneath the plaster - I’m sure there is more in the building.
Roach-infested. Like everywhere. Just killed a few.
Not all apartments have smoke alarms. I had to request one and weeks later the super gave me an old one that didn’t work. You have to call 311 to get any repairs done.
Management company is too scared to come to the neighborhood. When a unit was empty, they told prospective tenants to buzz my apartment. For weeks I was getting buzzed at all hours. Management didn’t ask. I talked to one of the viewers and they said they were told to buzz my unit.
