Middle of the Road
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, good restaurants, updated apartments, dishwasher, W/D
Cons:
heat went out, dishwasher and washer/dryer break all the time.
Advice to owner:
When you fix things, fix them for the long run.

Noisy, gross, and unresponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, neighbors, washing machines and dishwashers
Cons:
Constant noise. Always loud blaring music from the Bodega across the street. The garbage piles up onto the sidewalk and is rarely taken out to the point where there was constantly sanitation violation tickets on the door. Management takes forever to respond and once forget to turn on our heat until I had to call and ask.
Advice to owner:
Please clean up the garbage more regularly

Some good and some bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great area!! Near Columbia. Lots of families and tons of diverse restaurants. Brief walk to Central Park or Riverside Park. Truly a lot to do in the area. Upper west side is a very desirable area to call home. Great bars in the area if you like to go out for drinks or dinner. Not too far from subway system.
Cons:
We had almost every issue one could have with the apartment. Upon moving in we did have sightings of Cockroaches and mice (we were able to have exterminators come and this issue was resolved).

Main issue was with the general upkeep of the building. Garbage on the stoop was constantly thrown around on the sidewalk (building received a litter ticket for not making sure the outside building was clean). Another instance, an unknown person quite literally SHIT on our stoop. We had an issue with a package thief. Someone broke in and smashed the front glass doors and stole packages (and continued to on a regular basis after the break-in). After this happened, they took weeks to replace the broken doors and now have installed an intercom system but theft remains a regular issue.
Advice to owner:
If you order packages, send them to be picked up at an Amazon drop box location or make sure you are home (to ensure your things are not stolen). Emails to management are responsive, you just need to be persistent

They just installed new video doorbell system, mostly quick response to building issues
Cons:
Packages are often stolen, no security cameras
