Find alternatives if you're looking in the area
Former Tenant
Pros:
1. The building is in a good location so you have around 5 subway lines to choose from 2. The stairs are wide enough that it easy enough to get stuff up and down the stairs 3. Depending on your apartment you can get a lot of natural light
Cons:
1. It was really difficult to get in touch with the property managers and no amount of searching the internet could find it for you 2. The steam pipes bang really loud in the late fall/winter so you will spend most of the cold months not sleeping through the night (I recorded the decibel level to be around 90 which is the equivalent of someone blowing a leaf blower in your small room) 3. The trash piles up and people feel the need to pee behind it (since they can't be seen) so the area smells of urine 4. The radiator spits water out because it doesn't close properly and the super does nothing for it 5. I was given my lease renewal two weeks before my lease (after contacting them several times) was up and they raised the price $300
Advice to owner:
Take care of your building and tenants and people will actually stay longer

Save yourself time and don’t move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subway and supermarket
Cons:
Consistent issues with management, had to get 311 involved twice, mushrooms started growing from the radiator to find out there was a whole black mold infestation and they only wanted to paint over it.
Advice to owner:
Your super is draining you and doing nothing for this building

Water Main Burst / Stolen Security Deposit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient access to 3 and ABCD, nice coffee shops opened over the last 6 years.
Cons:
Frequent package theft. Continuously had problems with water leaking (through the ceiling above my toilet, tub, circuit breaker, kitchen) until literally the wall gave way. They would 'fix' the problem by just shutting down the water and then painting over damage, only for it to return. Moved out a month early due to the unlivable situation, only to have my security deposit withheld.
Advice to owner:
Spend on fixing your property

Not like the pictures
Former Tenant
Pros:
Never had a problem with the heating, good size apartments and small building near subway.
Cons:
Crazy water problems, broken locks for both the building and mail boxes. Noisy area, constant construction, dirty building, high crime rate, and the building is either slow to respond to problems or ignores them all together.

Sewage Water Nightmare
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious inside with new finishes
Cons:
Consistently flooded with sewage water outside the apartment doors to where we had to WALK through it to enter in. Also would flood the bathtub. Lots of pests outside and inside too. Zero responsibility from owners.
