Building Review
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is affordable and conveniently located next to the 1 train. The neighborhood is nice with lots of food and store, and neighbors are friendly. Mostly quiet outside of around the 4th of July when the kids get fireworks.
Cons:
Mail is constantly stolen due to tenants leaving doors open or opening for random buzz-in requests. Management is extremely slow to respond to issues, even health hazardous ones, unless tenant threatens to withhold rent. We also had a bed bug scare, and the apartment needs to do a serious mold treatment.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants more promptly, particularly for issues like mold, or ceiling leaks, or bed bugs.

Great spot and location!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super attentiveness, dog friendly, right by the 1 train, great restaurants around
One Elevator goes out regularly, heavy rains have highlighted weak spots in the roof and ceilings on the 10th floor
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to your tenants needs

Nightmare Struggles with Management / Landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good, nice neighbors in building. Spacious apartments. Good location. Right next to subway.
Cons:
Terrible landlords. Unresponsive to tenant needs. Management Staff that are abusive, liars and manipulators. Drug use in halls and stairwells and on rooftop. Overflowing trash area also used as a bathroom for random people from the streets (they urinate and defecate in it even while you’re putting your trash in!.) Front door locks always broken - huge safety hazard. Homeless sleeping in stairwells and hallways. Elevators never working, tenants often get stuck inside. Inconsistent heat, almost no hot water and low pressure. Gas leaks unattended to. Leaking walls and windows every time it rains.
Advice to owner:
Get it together. You could have a really nice building but you choose to neglect it and treat your tenants like their lives and safety don’t matter.
