A decent home base
Former Tenant
Pros:
There's a new super in the building who is incredibly responsive and helpful. Thanks to this, repairs happen much more quickly and the overall cleanliness has vastly improved. Neighbors have always been friendly but keep to themselves. The closeness to the subway station is a major plus.
Cons:
This wasn't a major issue for me, but this building is right across from a fire department, so there is plenty of firetruck noise. Corporate management can be rude when it's necessary to reach out to them. It's also a walk-up building, which can be difficult for those on higher floors

Inexpensive but very loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent Good pest control Heat always works maintenance happens
Cons:
A few loud inconsiderate neighbors. Trash area isn't well kept laundry room is gross
Advice to owner:
Take noise complaints seriously install thicker windows as part of renovations Keep trash area in better condition and have a key to that area so people cant use it as a toilet
