Near Rec Center.

Above a church so it’s very loud. Leaking pipes in the unit above unit 12 made bathroom ceiling collapse.

Was happy living there but could do better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the neighborhood Great sunlight Close to multiple subways
Cons:
Walk up Rat infested garbage area Package theft No laundry in building Too high of rent for no amenities
Advice to owner:
Please take better care of the garbage area. Sometimes it’s impossible to even open the door to throw out garbage, causing the building to become dirty with litter. The heat used to be really good but this last winter it was cold a lot of the time.

Couldn’t get secuirty deposit back
Former Tenant
Pros:
We lived in a beautiful unit, plenty of space at a decent price. We didn’t have many issues with heat or electric or anything like that.
Cons:
I after moving out, it took us almost an entire year to get our security deposit back even though we were in no violation. The landlord ran off with it to France with him and it took tons of fighting to get it back and reporting him. The management company did virtually nothing and told us they couldn’t do anything because he was the one with the money and not them.
