Good space, but roaches & poor amenities
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved the size of my apartment, it's really pretty spacious with high ceilings and both bedrooms are equally sized and can easily fit queens. The rent is also low in comparison to a lot of other places. There's lots of beautiful pre-war details, like chair rail in the bedrooms and hardwood floors.
Cons:
It's just poorly maintained. At first I didn't have a roach problem and then the owners switched out my old fridge that wasn't working for a used one that was infested with roaches, which wasn't dealt with. When I moved in, the previous tenants' furniture was still there, so I my roommate and I had to move it all out on our own. We ended up getting a small credit to our rent from the owners for the state of the apartment, but it didn't feel like enough. We also had no amenities. Some apartments in the building have dishwashers (ours didn't) and there's no laundry either in unit or in the building.

JUST DON’T
Former Tenant
Pros:
spacious apartments, blocks away from 1 and a train, riverside drive just a few blocks away
Cons:
Roaches, roaches and more roaches!! three weeks 4 different supers, they don’t give heat all night but give heat at 6am sometimes, crackheads in and out of building or trying to steal something going through peoples things, packages always stolen, Basement never clean, building NEVER EVER clean, elevator? Disgusting! need repairs? Forget about it none one will ever show up and IF they do they won’t even do a half decent job, this building has gone to SHIT compared to how it use to be. Apartments are so old needs to be renovated and the rent EXPENSIVE for such old apartments. Ridiculous at this point.
Advice to owner:
You seriously need to start making better decisions on supers and over all for the building and stop trying to save money by hiring drug addicts. Its time to reevaluate strategize and come up with a plan, do better.

Cons:
