Noisy Bar Next Door
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord fixes maintenance issues quickly.
Spacious with plenty of storage. Packages are never stolen. No pest issues. Neighbors are nice.
Location is good.
Cons:
Bar next door with backyard is extremely noisy every day, all night long.
WARNING: The bar that will rent out the basement unit of this building has access to the roof for their customers.Who knows what noise regulations the landlord will enforce, if any.
The heating system is very costly for some reason, so energy bills are $300+ per month for a barely warm apartment.
Advice to owner:
Get the bar to stop the noise at a reasonable hour.

What You’d Expect
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was what you’d expect for a walk up in the village. I never had any real issues with pests, neighbors in the building were quiet, and everything worked as expected.
Cons:
There’s a bar next door that can be loud Thursday-Saturday. Wasn’t terrible if you run a fan at night. Only real con is there’s no garbage service in the building, trash comes Monday, Wednesday, Friday and you haul it to the curb.

Beware of renting here - old building, painful landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
location is great and size of the apartments are reasonable
Cons:
Hi all :) I lived on the ground floor in the rear of the building. Bad news is that building is in bad shape with pipes freezing, mold in hallways, and rats in between the front and rear. Landlord won't give you his number, only calls tenants from a restricted number so you can't call him back. Moved back with my roommate after who is a lawyer and she said the lease was the least tenant friendly she had ever seen. Hard to move in NYC right now but avoid if you can!! Best of luck :)
Advice to owner:
Give tenants an emergency number

Horrible Management and NYC Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is tough to beat and apartments have enough room for 1 person
Cons:
Dirty neighbors with bars on both sides who are both loud and leave trash on street. Landlord won’t improve anything in the building or the apartment. Rats in between building that landlord won’t pay to fix. Building smells horrible when it gets hot and is only cleaned once or twice per year. Only stayed there for one year.
Advice to owner:
Make some improvements. Your reputation in the building is horrible.
