Horrible super, unresponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors were kind and communicative, dishwasher was replaced quickly when it wasn't working in the first few months of tenancy.
Cons:
It took 2 months to "fix" water damage when my apartment flooded last summer. I've had a mouse issue for months and they've still not resolved it. The super will repeatedly not show up when he claims he will, doesn't communicate sentences , and will not remember anything he was meant to bring to resolve the issues you called him for.
Advice to owner:
Hire a better super

It could be worse
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent is affordable for the area The location is great, central to everything and feel super safe at all times Nice kitchen Sunny and good view from windows Really amazing and very helpful super Feeling of safety in the building Nice neighbors Apartment looks nice Full size tub Closet space could be worse No rats
Cons:
The sounds from the midtown tunnel are no joke, gets really loud sometimes when there’s construction and they do construction late at night so this is not great for those who are sensitive to sound Roach infestation most likely - they’re everywhere in the lobby/stairs/staircase walls/neighbors doors Management isn’t very responsive, will have to email or call multiple times to get something done Pest control is difficult to reach Steep stairs The hallways just smell bad randomly
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to phone calls and emails when there’s something wrong in the apartment Do something about the roach infestation

Difficult and uncommunicative Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Prime location, friendly neighbors
Cons:
Building management doesn't respond or is rude if they do. Rodent and insect infestations are common. Theft is also a regular occurrence.
