Not bad but expensive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to MTA, friendly doorman, quiet neighbors, dog friendly
Cons:
Gym is not really usable. Expensive. Management does the bare minimum. Crazy high ConEd bill.

Great building, difficult management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building and apartment units are very nice. Great super and front desk staff
Cons:
The management company for this building just sees their tenants as numbers and not as people. We moved out due to our rent increase. We tried to negotiate with management, and they were completely unwilling. We just saw our rental unit posted for rent for LESS than our rental increase was offered at.

Good with some bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice floors, good light, rent stabilized
Cons:
Bathroom vanities are made out of crappy material and are slowly disintegrating. Failed to tell the tenants about a couple break-ins. Charge you a fee (up to $75/month) just for having the standard heater/AC units even if you don’t use them.

Good Apartment, Little Pricey
Former Tenant
Pros:
Overall the 1 bedroom apartment is nice and I don’t hear my neighbors besides in the hallway.
Cons:
AC units can be hit or miss (feel a little noisy and not the most cooling). Only a part time door person.
Advice to owner:
Ensure proper maintenance of units related to major appliances

Great building with large balconies and amazing staff
Former Tenant
Pros:
New building and well constructed. Every apartment has a full balcony. Some have massive terraces. Roof top with BBQ. Nice medium sized gym.
The Super is really good. He takes pride in his work. No dusty boots guy that come and Jerry rigs whatever is broken. He actually fixes it. Building is clean.
Nice lounges with Wi-Fi which is nice if you work from home.
Front desk staff is top notch and super friendly. The porters keep the place clean and take the trash out all the time.
Location is amazing. You are at the crossroads of Park Slop, Boerum Hill and Gowanus. Five min walk to TEN subway lines.
Management is quick to respond to all inquiries.
Package room is digital and you get alerts when you have something.
Cons:
This place is not cheap. The street is not the prettiest. The basement where the gym is can get a bit smelly from the compactor room. But the gym does not smell just the hall.
Advice to owner:
Keep up the good work. You may need to replace or update the grills on the roof this summer. They are not in great shape anymore. Maybe you could seal up the compactor room better. No biggies.

Great building, strange ending
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing staff, solid amenities, cool people, great maintenance staff, the events they put on are awesome, they returned our security deposit quickly and with interest
Cons:
Expensive for the space and location, the appliances are new but we had lots of issues with the dryer, they raised our rent 5% in the middle of covid despite buildings everywhere offering discounts and cheaper rates.
Advice to owner:
The building was great and staff was incredibly helpful. The rent hike during covid, though, was bizarre. We got ~40% more space and an extra bedroom for less money is a building in fort Greene.
