Review Summary for Kre Bklyner 10 Lexington LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback on KRE BKLYNER 10 LEXINGTON LLC buildings reveals a mix of strengths and challenges. Management is often praised for responsiveness and maintaining clean, modern common areas with good amenities such as gyms and outdoor spaces. The superintendents receive positive mentions for helpfulness. However, tenants frequently report issues with poor insulation, leading to high utility bills, especially for heating and gas. Pest control and garbage management are inconsistent, sometimes resulting in rodent problems. Communication gaps about repairs and billing have frustrated residents, and some note that repair times can be prolonged. Overall, expect responsive staff but be prepared for occasional maintenance and billing concerns.

this place will rob you
Former Tenant
Pros:
I really like the building and the staff. it’s well maintained and the super is nice
Cons:
the gas bill is really high and different for everyone in really weird ways. some people pay 30 dollars a month, some people pay 300 dollars a month. and they don’t help you when you ask. seriously- don’t live here for that reason.

Avoid this building like the plague the rats in the courtyard carry
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient location, looks nice if you're standing 20 feet away from it
Cons:
RATS! Unhelpful series of rotating supers, terrible maintenance and repairs. Shoddy construction, strange rooms taped off full of probably-not-up-to-code boilers. Broken appliances in apartment and in common areas. Getting back to the rats, they were storing garbage in the back hallway next to ground-level entrances. Every night, you could see rats scurrying around.
Advice to owner:
MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY. This building is a disgrace, and I'm surprised you haven't been sued by your tenants.

Nice place, but literally an F in insulation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice amenities, rooftop, game room, and gym.
Responsive management and super.
Cons:
An F energy rating, which I didn't even know was possible until living here.
Took 6 months to fix a broken window, which as broken before I even moved in.
Advice to owner:

A great place to live in an amazing neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pretty well maintained, and a decent apartment for the price. The amenities were alright, not amazing, but this isn't a luxury building. It's pet friendly, our apartment got great light in the bedroom and office. The super is very responsive and helpful. The management company isn't amazing but no complaints.
Cons:
Ventilation inside the building is a little musty and strange, especially in the summer. I don't know why they chose to put in a central air conditioner/heater units in every single room of the apartment, heat and hot water is NOT included, so utility bills in this building are quite expensive. National Grid turned off our gas multiple times for absolutely no reason, so we've had to go several weeks with no hot water or a functional stove.

Pros:
Close to G and AC, spacious, nice gym and shared areas, super is very responsive, younger tenants, pet friendly
Cons:
Bad efficiency rating, a couple of water issues here and there, old furniture in shared areas, mailroom can be a mess, amenity fees

10 Lexington Review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing location, beautiful building, great amenities like the gym and laundry room, feels very safe.
Cons:
The building seems cheaply made, with very thin walls, doors with little to no insulation, low water pressure and temperature, and appliances not built to last.

Lexington Charm
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pros were the space. My roommates and I had a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex - quite the steal! We were able to secure a deal during COVID. It was super convenient! Amenities were free and nice to have, the building was quiet, and the neighbors were nice. Loved the courtyard - it felt like you weren't even in NY.
Gazmir was always super helpful! Also, they recently switched to using an app-based platform for maintenance requests - way easier.
Cons:
For major concerns, management would take a while to address. My advice is to go straight to Gazmir. I had water damage once on my ceiling and it took months to address. Also, they used to have pest control monthly then stopped when the new management came. I wish they continued because in the summer time we'd see more pests. If you have a balcony get a screen to prevent any bugs.

Poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
A lot of space
Cons:
Gas bill is always high. No matter how much heat you use. You pay a “ Delivery fee” which is higher than your usage. “Delivery fee” $150 and usage $9-16
Managment doesn’t communicate with tenants or respond.
People are really loud always slamming doors (your door vibrates) not good if you a sleeping baby and dogs barking for any noise they hear or someone walking by.
Advice to owner:
Respond to questions tenants have
Follow up with tenants and communicate what’s going in the building. Painting, something not working or construction etc
