Pros:
Nice natural lighting
Nice space for a 3 bedroom
Management is responsive
Building and neighborhood quiet
Cons:
I enjoyed the living space. My only con is the neighborhood is very quiet, not a lot of restaurant options and grocery shopping nearby.

Cons:
Owners don't particularly care about good renters or tenants, only bottom line.
Advice to owner:
Treat loyal tenants better!

Illegal basement apartment

Pros:
The building was quiet with a great location
Cons:
It’s a basement apartment in a neighborhood of Brooklyn prone to storm surge, which I later found out is of questionable legality. If the neighboring building doesn’t clear their drains, the basement apartment will flood. If you do see water, the landlord will not take it seriously until your apartment is flooded wall to wall. The certificate of occupancy for this building does not include the basement apartment, and it does not have a separate meter from Con Ed, which is required in a building with this many units. All signs point to this building having an illegal basement apartment.

Great building with lot of natural light located on a quiet street

Natural light
Large windows
Good heat
Washer/dryer
High ceilings
Responsive landlord
Clean property
Close to the subway
Cons:
Sometimes the locked door to the building gets stuck and doesn’t latch closed but they are very responsive when this happens and fix it right away.
Advice to owner:
It’s a great building to live in.
