DO NOT LIVE HERE! Horrible Invasive Owner & Heat/Mice/Intruder Problem!
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was on the cheaper side for HK
Cons:
-The Owner is an old man that is very rude, intrusive, and screams at tenants over their concerns.
-The building has a major mice issue.
-There is a major homeless problem where intruders keep breaking into the building
-The building has an old heating system that gives you zero control of the temperature
-**While it may seem nice to live right next to a Target, they get their deliveries at night and the large trucks are extremely loud at all hours of the late night!**
Advice to owner:
Horrible Apt Building
It did the job.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to all amenities, owner was extremely friendly and kind.
Cons:
Cockroaches and mice!!! Had a lot of issues with my smoke detector.. went through a few of them because they kept going off in the middle of the night for no reason (the reset & off wouldn't work on them.. luckily maintenance was fairly quick to deal with them when it happened.
Advice to owner:

Charming Building in Hell’s Kitchen
Former Tenant
Pros:
The landlord was very reasonable and responsive.
Cons:
The heat in my unit was erratic—either overly strong or very weak.

Small studios, old building, poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, nothing much to add.
Cons:
Most of the units are very small studios. Walls and floors are really thin, you can hear other tenants walk above you or turn on a ceiling fan under you. Cockroaches climb through ventilation and multiple holes in the walls.
The worst part is the landlord doesn’t care about anything but collecting money. The landlord often avoids talking to tenants, and if you want to negotiate it you are often left without any answer. They lost half of tenants during the pandemic, and were not able to reduce rent.
