A good, affordable option in Jamaica Plain
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Great location near Forest Hills T stop - Management company is relatively accessible and responsive, using an online system - They replaced our dishwasher very quickly and our oven as well (although there were some communication issues with the latter) - Spacious 2 bedrooms - Pet-friendly with no major restrictions!
Cons:
- Our bathroom was unvented and got mildewy pretty easily. - When it came time to deal with the owners directly rather than the management company (we needed a new oven), the communication seemed to break down. We were left without an oven for a few days and couldn't really get a straight answer as to when we'd have a new one, and when it would be installed (although that did happen after 2-3 days). - We had a bit of a pantry moth problem, although we never really found the source - it may have been another unit.
Advice to owner:
Outsource more to the management company - let them interface with tenants when they need something quickly. Redo the
