Great Building - management company dependent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fantastic amenities, friendly staff, quiet and peaceful building
Cons:
It’s a condo, so the service to your specific unit depends on the management company or owners responsiveness. In my unit’s case, the management company was slow to respond to requests. Outside of that no issues with the building itself

Location is good
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near trains, building kept well, great location
Cons:
Walls are too thin, and can hear upstair neighbors walk around, there is always complaint about sounds through the walls and the floors. Building has not been upgraded therefore can only max out for WiFi speed of 50/50 for fios and fios only.
Advice to owner:
To put something in the walls for blocking noise

Good condo
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff is nice and friendly (though some porters / doormen could be friendlier) and the building is well managed. Application process took longer vs rental buildings as is usually the case for condo buildings. The sound proofing of the walls is great and the views are phenomenal. Gym access is convenient
Cons:
The heating system is loud and doesn’t heat up the apartment as well as one would hope. Bc it’s so loud it makes me want to keep the heat off as much as possible which is not great during cold months.
Delays with painting the walls during move in resulted in my having to get an Airbnb in between.
Common area decor is outdated.
Advice to owner:
Quieter heating system Renovate common areas to be more modern

Renter of condo unit - enjoyed my three years
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing doormen who remember every little detail. Doormen and valet service were especially fantastic during the difficulties of the time of the pandemic. Laundry rooms on every floor made it ok I didn’t have one in-unit. Trash room is generally very clean.
Cons:
I’ve noticed on a few occasions there was unauthorized access to my apartment - I did not get a heads up that someone would enter for maintenance or any other reason. HVAC units also gave me some issues - my apartment wasn’t cooling enough in the heat of the summer this year. I’ve lived here three years and hadn’t noticed this issue before. There wasn’t a solution from Management.
Advice to owner:
As a renter I didn’t have much concern with the property management or the board, but the board seems to be very problematic with the condo owners. I don’t know too much in detail on this.
