Well-maintained luxury building, a bit expensive with minor pest problems

Overall a lovely luxury building in FiDi with solid amenities, conveniently located near several subway lines Friendly staff, nice to have a separate package room Nice floors and kitchens

Cons

Rent was pretty high for the small 1BR + home office space, and there is a separate amenities fee as well Some issues with cockroaches during our tenancy The apt was not very well-insulated, esp as our windows faced Wall St and we could hear a ton of noise throughout the day/night. Also there was definitely a draft which made it extremely cold in the winter

Great staff (love the doormen and maintanence crew); appreciate the cleanliness of the building and newer amenities and vibe of the building/decor. Great shared spaces.

How is the noise from neighbors? Has anyone experienced stomping noises coming through the ceiling, or thin walls allowing noise from next-door neighbors?

I have resided on the 67 Wall Street side for several years now and have on rare occasions heard loud stomping-like noises (like someone is running on a treadmill) from above. I can also hear my neighbors if they talk or laugh loudly and my room is pretty quiet. Luckily for me these have not been a nuisance and my neighbors have been mostly quiet. Of course, this all highly depends on your circumstances.

My rent went up $2k on my studio in this building. When I spoke to management about it I was given a very smug/rude response. This was in 2021.
