Living on Pitt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very helpful super, washer dryer in unit, room to store bike in hallway.
Cons:
Hallway can get stinky when trash is brought out. Floors are thin, entire apartment vibrates when upstairs neighbor plays music. People hang out in front of building playing music

Good, Not Great
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Location is both a pro and con. Near the subway, but right above a liquor store that brings an interesting crowd every day & night -Apartment itself is pretty nice and spacious, and gets decent light. -Washer and dryer in unit, they work fine but are TINY -Common spaces in the building are always kept clean and somehow manage to smell nice -Roof access!! There view of the bridge is beautiful.
Cons:
-Like I said earlier, living above a liquor store isn’t great. There is ALWAYS a crowd of drunk people right outside the front door. -Neighbors here party multiple nights a week, with raging music until maybe 2-3am. I’ve seen them invite 50+ people into the building and leave it trashed. -There is 0 contact with building owners/management. You can contact the super, who really just handles repairs by doing them himself, and he is super fast at responding and friendly. But to contact anyone above him about other apartment issues, like the noisy neighbors, is impossible.
