Good place to live, not perfect
Former Tenant
Pros:
In building washer/dryer. Decent wifi, would cut out infrequently.
Cons:
Loud if you are facing the street. Smells bad because they do not take away trash frequently, slow responses/action taken by landlord to fix things.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive.

Management is slow to fix issues/does not fix them
Former Tenant
Pros:
Recently renovated units, no brokers fee, minimal issues with bugs/rodents. The super is very friendly and helpful but speaks minimal english
Cons:
There was a huge leak in Sept 2023 and management never repaired my ceiling or smoke detector in common area. Trash (level 2) sometimes builds up and attracts rodents when management doesnt take it out enough. Can be hard to reach management because there is no direct phone number. Neighbors can be loud and leave shoes in hallway
Advice to owner:
Fix the issues in a timely manner.

Very noisy if you face Clinton street
Former Tenant
Pros:
Local to everything you need, lots of restaurants around and Trader Joe’s nearby
Cons:
Noise
Walk up is hard
Laundry a bit far
Packages are constantly stolen
Advice to owner:
Install proper cameras that can track the thieves

Lol good luck
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only thing is probably that it’s Cheaper than most things in the area - but you get what you pay for. Tons of things around and target/TJs down the street.
Cons:
the mgmt company couldn’t care less, super unresponsive. We had a hole the size of a basketball in our ceiling dripping water for close to a month before they did anything, and then their suggestion was “put a garbage bag” over it until they could fix it.

Depends on the apartment. Don’t expect heat in the winter if you move into our spot, we complained numerous times in the years and got absolutely nowhere - meanwhile our neighbor has to keep the ac on it’s so intense in there.

Toilets - do you like taking a shit and worrying about getting backsplashed? Then this is the place for you. Randomly the toilet bubbles and for over a year they have now told us the piping is fine. Not sure if the piping or the neighbors don’t know how to wipe properly, but it’s the worst game of Russian Roulette you can imagine 👌
Advice to owner:
Putting any semblance of effort into this building instead of ignoring every email would be a great start.

a hell hole
Former Tenant
Pros:
loved being close to everything, the neighborhood was fun. Target and Trader Joes are very close
Cons:
God where do I start?? The noise level in this is building is the worst I have ever experienced. The walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations of next door neighbors and the ones upstairs. I had a lunatic as a next door neighbor who would threaten us all the time. They were a danger to themselves and us and the management still wouldn't throw them out.
Advice to owner:
Take more action when it comes to the safety of your tenants!!!

Overall Nice Place
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Responsive super, important things are done quickly
-Building will deal with pest control
-Overall good amenities
-Close to groceries, food, transit, laundry
Cons:
-Actually building owner is difficult to get a hold of and could take a while to respond
-Surrounding area due to other buildings' tenants can be noisy on weekends
-Walk up building (no elevator)/no laundry in building
