Responsive Management, No Pests
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived here for years and never had a pest. The block has been quiet as long as the pizza place has been out of business (since pre 2021). The landlord is super responsive and will come by within a day of me having any issue. The way they fix things isn’t always the prettiest but they get it done. It’s the best building I’ve lived in in NY.
Cons:
What you see is what you get - bare bones, the heaters are gas powered so you can control them but you can’t remove them from the windows and they are probably causing asthma. The floors are a bit crooked, but it’s an old building. There’s no buzzer to the building which is annoying for deliveries. There aren’t any bad surprises that you wouldn’t be able to see from a tour of the apt.
Advice to owner:
I’d love the trash to be fenced off in the back patio so we could utilize the outdoor space.

127 Unit 8
Former Tenant
Pros:
Bright, relatively spacious, good price, stylish
Cons:
Apartment was definitely a little grimy, walls are paper thin, especially with the bro neighbor, you have to pay for your own heat and hot water which can be expensive, and the water heater is a little small.
