nice place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
clean, super is responsive and helpful, amenities are nice and reliable, great location
Cons:
expensive, construction across the street constant, can hear a lot of street noise if you’re at the front of the apt, windows are not sealed super well, rent was increased 25% on us despite being great and timely tenants. Only concession we were offered was a month and a half free. Very unfortunate.
Advice to owner:
Prioritize good long standing tenants over a buck

Nice for East Village, management sucked
Former Tenant
Pros:
Newly renovated when we moved in, mini split ac units, in unit washer and dryer
Cons:
Poor workmanship in renovation, construction didn’t provide notice and at times was inconvenient, unit was dirty from construction when we moved in, building manager/owner was horrendously unresponsive.
Advice to owner:
Answer your goddamn tenants when they call and email you

Recently renovated , clean
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building no bugs. Quick to fix things
Cons:
Windows aren’t fully sealed and took a few months to fix this. AC/heating units for heat so it gets quite cold in the winter because the landlord controls the gas/heat and doesn’t turn it on often forcing you to use the heat ac unit which isn’t super effective
