Great 3 years
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice staff, outdoor garden, gym and laundry room, Amazon hub, great location and spacious apartments, rent controlled
Cons:
Adjacent to a supermarket so there was usually a funky smell in the lobby from the prepared food counter. No roof access. Laundry machines, elevator, gym equipment would break regularly and not get addressed quickly. No full time doorman. Persistent mouse issues

convenient and decent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazon prime locker is handy. Building staff (super, door people, janitorial folks etc) are all exemplary, super friendly wonderful people.
Cons:
Lots of rats in the neighborhood and also mice in the building. Can be very noisy. elevators break down a lot.
If you are considering moving into this building and relying on the laundry room, don't do it. We are currently sharing 2 barely-functioning washing machines between 70 units and the management company constantly ignore residents and lie to us. It's pretty disgusting considering the price they are charging for rents for new tenants.
If you dont care about laundry facilities and are comfortable with organizing pick up/drop off laundry that you pay for on top of rent, then its fine.
Advice to owner:
Your management company is grossly neglectful.

East village unicorn
Former Tenant
Pros:
Part time doormen, two elevators, shared patio, laundry in building, garbage chute on each floor. Bill the super, and the porter are nice, as are the two doormen.
Cons:
Management company is just okay, sometimes hinder porter/super from doing X or Y. Shared patio needs serious pest control help. Ptac a/c units are fickle and expensive on the electric.
Advice to owner:
Please think about letting porter and super do more with less paperwork, as theyre great. Please replace/update the ptac units.
