Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for 133 Loisaida Avenue highlight affordability and a decent location as main positives, with tenants appreciating features like hardwood floors, natural light, and high ceilings. However, significant issues persist, including poor cleanliness, inadequate heating, frequent pest infestations, and unaddressed water damage. Garbage management is inconsistent, and water pressure is often weak. A major concern is the landlord's unresponsiveness and slow maintenance, especially regarding heating failures and building upkeep. Noise levels and neighbors receive mixed feedback. Overall, the building struggles with management and maintenance, making it less suitable for renters seeking comfort and reliability despite its affordable pricing.

Do NOT move here

Pros

The apartment is extremely affordable but thats it

Cons

- Heating is absolutely awful. Radiator fills the room with steam and gets to above 80 in the winter. - No AC during the hot summer, you have to manually install in the window - Absolutely zero care for bests and floorboard issues. Constant holes and openings between floors and walls. Lots of flies, mosquitos, spiders, etc. - Extremely poor landlord response time - Apartment was NOT even cleaned after the previous tenants left, I had to clean it myself.
