Cute neighborhood, you can see a community garden from home. Good light, close to nice restaurants
Cons:
far away from subway, neighborhood was not too safe there were a lot of bars so drunk people and crazy people hang around

Lovely apartment block
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lovely sized one bedroom apartment layout. Nice location near Tompkins Square Park. Good in-apartment laundry on a few floors. Virtual doorman.
Cons:
Quite a noisy stairwell. Not a lot of light in the apartments due to the layout.
Advice to owner:
Would be great to have keypad entry to the laundry rooms rather than keys.

Fuck Paul stallings
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location in the village
Cons:
Management and owners are terrible, don’t care about the tenants, owner has an anger issue. Accused me of “losing” a tray in the freezer that was non existent in the first place and when I asked about why they were charging me 120$ for that the owner, Paul stallings, threatened to charge me more if I didn’t “get the fuck out of his office” and he also asked if I wanted to fight him? The owner is clearly unstable and also the apartment I was in had no heat, there was not an actual radiator and it was basically unlivable in the winter.

Avoid this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors were all in agreement with the awful management. There’s no elevator so you get extra exercise, especially if you have groceries and have to make several trips up and down the stairs
Cons:
The landlord(s) don’t care about the tenants, won’t turn the heat on, I had to sleep with 6 blankets all winter. The water pressure is awful, the super doesn’t speak English. Just a nightmare to have had to live here for a year. The heat poles are not covered and are dangerous, I burned Myself several times
Advice to owner:
Develop some integrity and care for the building housing the peoples money you take consistently.
