Pretty good spot
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is quiet, reasonably maintained, great roof. Apartments are updated. Never encountered any mice or cockroaches in the apartment. Never any plumbing or heating issues. Landlord is generally responsive and seems to be a family business. Good building!
Cons:
The dryer in the basement doesnt work well, the staircase and common areas could be cleaned more regularly (saw dead cockroaches in the stairwell sometimes but never in apartment). The heating, although works well, is curiously expensive to run—highest ConEd bills I’ve ever experienced for basic heat.
