Horrible Owner/Management in an Old Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is good. There is a roof over your head.
Cons:
The owner of this building has his children running the leasing management. His daughter could not be more entitled, rude, heartless, out of touch, or anything else horrible you can think of. She was rude to us from the very start. Immediately pushes back on any single thing you call about. The building was old and unrenovated. It is very clear this is just an immensely wealthy long island family that owns dozens of buildings in the city, profits off of tenants hard earned labor, and could not care less about us as humans. We were nothing more than a revenue source for these people. I could not move out fast enough.

Lied on application
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fun area to be in if you are young and in college. Neighbors are young so you can throw parties and have people over no problem.
Cons:
Lied that there would be laundry installed midway through our lease. Never came. Noise pollution on streets was insanely loud.
Advice to owner:
Don’t lie to tenants trying to rent the apartment
