Aesthetic Renos, Basic Amenities
Former Tenant
Pros:
The entryway of the building is beautifully set up with mirrors, exposed brick, and regal lighting. Nestled between two busy restaurants makes the building entrance very well lit. We reside in an apartment with newer finishes, including a marble countertop, state of the art fridge, exposed white brick, rainfall shower, and dimmers in every room. My apartment on the second floor faces the alley rather than street so it is quiet for the most part. For any maintenance fixes management is easy to reach and service requests are handled in a timely manner.
Cons:
Heat errs on the side of cold in winter, unless you turn on the electric heating provided (I personally don't). The building super is generally absent. As for garbage there is little to no communication between management and residents about the rules on this, except for passive aggressive notes I've seen posted up in the hall. Packages are strewn at the foot of the stairs at times.
Advice to owner:
Make sure residents are made aware of how to handle garbage prior to moving in.
