Really great super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the super in the building, overall totally fine building.
Cons:
There is no noise reduction, you can hear everything in the building. Some pest issues. Water gets way too hot.

It’s not the worst but it’s not the best.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice supers, great location, elevator, generally chill and diverse neighbors!
Cons:
Not very clean. Stains on the walls in common areas. The unit I moved into had dog hair everywhere, bathroom still smells like old pee. Plumbing issues. Water can be sketchy. Heat went out a few times in the winter. Water goes lukewarm most showers. Appliances are dated as hell. Occasional roaches but this is the city I guess. Packages stolen frequently — there really needs to be better security around this.
Advice to owner:
Keep the place a little cleaner. Something needs to be done about the packages, like installing a camera or locker system. This has been a consistent issue and many tenants have complained.

Worst Management in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very very few that I can think of
Cons:
Big Apple Management is truly the worst management company out there.

NO ELEVATOR - don't let them lie to you - the elevator has been out of service since November 2021 and they will tell you it's being worked on but there has been nobody here working on the elevator in over 3 months. The leasing manager Eric Korshadt lied and told me the elevator would be fixed in time for my move in which has resulted in my paying out thousands of dollars to move into what is essentially a walkup.

I have had a leak in my top floor apartment for 3 months that they will not fix and have effectively stopped responding to my requests for maintenance entirely. The leak is coming in through the lights in my kitchen - they don't seem to care.

Rats, everywhere. Literally everywhere - be careful when you open the garbage/recycling bins as they'll jump out at you
Mice in my 6th floor apartment (which means they are in the whoooole building)
Fire safety way out of compliance
The building is absolutely filthy - has not been cleaned once since I moved in February. I mean, absolutely disgusting. Dirt everywhere.
Advice to owner:
Start caring about the property you own? Worst case of idiocy I've ever seen.

You can find somewhere better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors and super are nice and location is great
Cons:
Packages get stolen all the time. Heat and hot water are routinely out during the winter. Occasional roaches. Street is veeeery noisy. Elevator violations. No laundry. Eric doesn’t respond ever and is the least helpful landlord I’ve ever had. He’s a scammer just trying to con you out of more money!
Advice to owner:
Do your job!
