typical nyc management
Former Tenant
Pros:
the property management group is pretty responsive. washer/dryers work well and it's nice to be able to pay through the app.
Cons:
I had mice in my apartment that were present as soon as I moved in. it took three months for them to get them out. Against the law, they did not return my security deposit or communicate about any deductions within 14 days. I had to fight with them to get it back within the next month. There was a small amount of furniture on the roof when I moved in. by the time I moved out a year later, it was gone.
Advice to owner:
follow the law

Okay Apartment Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location for being in alphabet city, laundry in building, wide staircase, roof access
Cons:
Many tenants smoke in the building, loud noise from other tenants and neighbors, many drug dealers on block.
Advice to owner:
Better outside lighting, more secure mailboxes, and setup a better routine pest management program.
