Decent Building, Non-Existent Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Properly sized 1br, tons of closet space, average rent for the neighborhood, ultra convenient location, calls for building issues do get addressed- eventually. Regular exterminator service, never had an issue with pests.
Cons:
Extremely slow / sometimes non existent responses from management co. Usually have to email several times for service requests. A couple times I gave up and just fixed things myself. Noise can be an issue at times, but that's to be expected in the East Village. Common areas could definitely be better maintained considering the cost of rent.
Advice to owner:
Maybe hire more help in the office. The current staff is either overwhelmed or just don't have much of a sense of urgency / professionalism.

Nice spot in the east village
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Spacious apartments (for the EV) - Lots of closet space - Heat included (steam) - On a quieter block
Cons:
- Garbage cans in the entry hallway - Old fittings in the bathroom
Advice to owner:
- Renovate bathrooms - Newer appliances would be nice
