Overall Great, No pests, super quiet on higher floors, no issues with managmnt

Pros:
Clean, incrediblyquiet, respectful neighbors,
Cons:
Stairs, hallway doors let alot of noise out. Can hear full conversations within apartments with relative ease. However, with some carpeting it becomes much more minimal. The big wall between the apartments are thick though and I can't hear my neighbors. However, in the bed room, more noise passes through the wall with the next unit but fortunately my neighbor was super respectful.

Pros:
Great location, live in Super is very nice and mostly responsive. Laundry in the building is helpful, and overall the trash area is kept organized and clean.
Cons:
No elevator. Roof access was taken away even though it was a major reason for renting here.

Pros:
The garden view is so wonderful! It also allows for some extra natural light as there isn’t a building right there (good save for a unit not facing the street). The building is clean, and the super has lived there FOREVER really a sweetheart with a lovely cat. The garbage alley behind the building also has a little space where a couple of bikes can be kept!! There is also laundry in the basement and a beautiful roof with a really nice sunset view
Cons:
The neighbors are …very typical east village residents - with a couple exceptions of course - but we’ve come across a few very snobby folks and some thin walls. Heat/AC are typical interms of $$$$$ and gas is not too bad. We have lowered rent from covid & my gf and I wouldn’t be able to afford this building otherwise.
Advice to owner:
lower the rent ……
